Gajim 0.11 [en]

I had an update yesterday from edgy backports, gajim is now 0.11.
So what’s new ? For the network setup, IPv6, Zeroconf and Network Manager are now supported (do not ask me what this is, I am currently trying to understand the Zeroconf specs), and some bugs have been corrected.

The eye candy stuff now :

  • each contact in MUC has a different color
  • new iconsets
  • I can see avatars from gaim clients again

I have not tested everything yet, specially the new options in Advanced Configuration Editor, but file tranfert with gaim clients still does not work :-(

    perhaps it’s because Gaim doesn’t support the File Transfer protocol as specified by Jabber Foundation?

    Probably. Why do they not use gajim? (grrrrr… :D)
