Agave, no more lack of ideas for color schemes
Debian Package of the Day is really a must have in your rss feed reader.
I just came across Agave, a color scheme designer for the GNOME desktop (prevouisly known as GNOME Colorscheme). Current edgy release is:

It’s always been difficult for me to choose colors either from web html color pages or from Gimp
menus. Not enough to choose from, or to many, or not easy to test two colors side by side …
Here is what Agave
looks like, you can choose complement or analogous colors, play with saturation and brightness, and most of all, drag and drop between Agave
and Gimp
